Filternator
Is it a filter? Is it a resonator? Yes- the new Filternator module is both of the above…with a difference. When developing the module and hearing how it treated signals, it was obviously filtering, but with high resonant peaks that were stronger than the incoming signal, at which point it was resonating up a storm. So what to call it? It’s resonating as much as it’s filtering, so we called it the Filternator!
Filternator features:
High and Low Pass filter modes
Extremely wide frequency range (approximately 295Hz to 3.4kHz)
Passive design which requires no power, but doesn't attenuate the input signal
Wet/Dry mix control
MIX CV input for automating mix level (which can create some really cool effects)
Six switches to determine frequency, which are just plain fun to play with.
Specs: 30mm wide (6HP), 12mm deep. Power requirements: none, CV input unipolar 0 to +5V. Range of cutoff frequency: approx. 296Hz to 3.4KHz according to switch settings. High pass/Low pass switch.
